Such an Inspiring biography! Oprah Gail Winfrey was born on January 29, 1954 in Kosciusko, Mississippi.

She was raised in a small farming community with almost nothing. Oprah’s father, Vernon, was working at a military camp trying to put food on the table while Oprah’s mother Vernita, worked double shifts to help contribute.

Oprah would usually hang around with her grandmother before she could attend school. Everyone new Oprah around town, she was a great speaker and acted in many of the town churches.
