Sondra Locke is an American actress and film director, best known for her leading roles in films with Clint Eastwood.
She made her debut in 1968 in the drama "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter", starring Alan Arkin, and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Sondra Locke was born on March 28, 1947, in Shelbyville, Tennessee, USA.
In 1965, she became a high school graduate and was chosen to give the farewell speech on the day of the university degrees awarding ceremony at Shelbyville Central High School. She enrolled in Middle Tennessee State University, but dropped out after a year to pursue an acting career.
